Visual impairment can have immediate and long-term consequences in children and adults, such as lost educational and employment opportunities, lost economic gain for individuals, families and societies, and impaired quality of life. People with vision loss confront challenges related to education, employment, mobility, and socialization, psychosocial development, use of assistive technology and mental health.

The purpose of HELPLINE is to give persons with visual impairment the confidential support and information on issues related to“Blindness and Low Vision"
